Narrator: This is a story about child labor.

Our main character is Anabelle!

Narrator: Her traits are: brave, caring, has lots of

courage. You would love her story!

Anabelle: of course.

Narrator: This is the rural village Anabelle used to live when she was small. There were unfair laws, like when Anabelle's aunt stood up for them, but was killed in front of her family because of that. And, there was no birth certificate, so no one knew how old they were. Also, she knew that her sister was forced to marry to a man whom she didn't like.

Anabelle: Yay! Now I know why my aunt was killed!

Narrator: After Anabelle found out what had happened to

her sister, she decided that she didn't want to end up like

that as well, so, she ran away.

Narrator: her uncle took her to a clothing factory in a big city because

it was the only place with work for her. But to be true with

you, she didn't really like it there.

Narrator: Now, Anabelle has been sent to this factory to work. This was the worst job, because workers get the most only 2 dollars pay at most, Have to work on 500-600 pieces of clothing in one day, or then, there was no pay. She would be in bad working conditions, And work past midnight, then wake up at 5.

Anabelle: OOOOOOOH NOOOOOOO!! But thanks for the warning!

Hi!
