- Hi INFO 5430! My name is Susan Mitchell. I live near Houston, TX with my husband. We have two daughters in college (yay for empty nests). Let's take a tour of my life! I mean, it's not like you can ACTUALLY go anywhere ... pandemic and all. Am I right?
- As far as hobbies go, I ride with my husband on our Harley. I also love to travel, eat, read, and watch crime TV. Clearly, I do these at different times. I mean, that would be unsafe otherwise ... and really hard!
- I have been an elementary teacher for 12 years at the same school. The last 7 years have been as a RELA teacher in 4th & 3rd grade. I teach all special populations - ESL, SpEd, and GT.
- Wait! I was supposed to tell you about my hopes for the future! I might have gone too far into the future. Whoops!
- But as long as we are here, my hope for the future is to get my MS-LS from UNT and become the librarian at my elementary school soon. I also look forward to both my daughters graduating.
- I am taking this class because every year I love this concept more! I have seen how important it is to student engagement and learning. I can't WAIT to learn more!
