- But the old man came back with a magical sword to help in face the challenges that awaited him in his journey and told him that if he killed the demon he would become a hero
- They noticed the land and forests Grover remembered had turned completely into desert. They walked through the sand dunes to a large temple buried in the dunes with just the tip coming out. This was the entrance to the underworld. They started digging away the sand and crawled through the top and then down the long stairs. As soon as they made it through the doorway at the bottom, it slammed shut behind them
- here is amour and courage
- Greneth started his quest but did not know where to go. He went to his friend Grover, who was a satyr, and also noticed his forests were dying. Grover, hearing about Greneth’s quest, agreed to help him go to the underworld. Together they would save the world
- and they started to leave the underworld but the lesser demons didn't want them to leave so they started to chase them up the stairs.
- but before he went through the doorway graneth was having second thoughts about going to slay the demon but just before he was going to turn back a glowing lady appeared in front of him and gave him the holy amour of the gods to help him and gave him courage to finish his quest
- At the end of the stairs the friends went down a path through huge spiked gates and saw the demon king. Despite his ferocious looks, Graneth charged towards him with his sword high. He brought it down with a thundering strike on the king's head to kill him. The demon lashed out with a clawed hand striking Graneth in the head, but the armour stopped it, allowing Graneth to kill him with one blow
