- Orpheus was the most talented musician in ancient times. As well as music he was gifted with a beautiful voice that would attract anyone to him. Another hobby of his was going on adventures.
- Run quick!
- Much of his early years, Orpheus spent in the idyllic pursuits of poetry and music. As he mastered playing the lyre, it was at one gathering of people that his eyes fell onto a beautiful nymph, Eurydice. They fell in love and couldn't live a moment without each other.
- Noooo! Why?
- After a while, they decided to get married. The event got blessed by Hymenaios, the god of marriage. Then a great feast followed. The surroundings were filled with joy and laughter.
- Wow, I think this is gonna make me cry.

- A shepherd, Aristaeus,was jealous of Orpheus’ beautiful wife. As he saw the couple approaching, he planned to murder Orpheus to make Eurydice his own. As the shepherd made his move, Orpheus grabbed Eurydice by the hand and started running fast through the forest.
- The chase was long. They sprinted in fright but suddenly, Eurydice stumbled in pain. Orpheus, confused, looked around noticing Aristaeus vanished. A few snakes slid out from under Eurydice’s foot and revealed a bite from a deadly viper. Knowing her life ended there, the shepherd gave up in misery. Orpheus was flooded with depression.

Equipped with lyre and voice, Orpheus approached Hades and demanded entry into the Underworld without hesitation. He played his lyre and sang out to King Hades and Queen Persephone that his wife should be returned to the living..
