Storyboard Description

Use this graphic organizer to introduce the acronym GRAPES to your students. Students answer the questions for each category: Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economy and Social Structure, by reflecting on their own lives and experiences. After they have had a chance to reflect and write, teachers can lead a class discussion about each category. This is a helpful community building activity as well as a way to introduce this simple graphic organizer that can be used for the study of each ancient civilization.
