What is a Timeline?
A timeline is a type of graphic organizer that shows specific events in sequence, usually with dates, in a linear fashion. Timelines are particularly useful for studying or reviewing history, because the timeline will visually display major events over a period of time. What is a Timeline Poster?
A timeline poster is simply a timeline on poster sized paper. These bright and engaging posters are perfect for the quintessential history project, and are also useful to hang in the classroom. Customizing a timeline lets you create fun and memorable posters. A timeline poster board can be created for research projects, like the events of someone's life or the timeline of an invention, but also can showcase important events in an era of history. Having students create timelines is a great way to see which events they deem important!
How to Make a Timeline Poster
Choose One of the Premade Timeline Poster Templates

Click on "Copy Template"
Once you do this, you will be directed to the storyboard creator.
Give Your Poster a Name!
Be sure to call it something related to the topic so that you can easily find it in the future.
Edit Your Poster
This is where you will include details, text, images, and make any aesthetic changes that you would like. The options are endless!
Click "Save and Exit"
When you are finished with your newspaper poster, click this button in the lower right hand corner to exit your storyboard.
