What is Persuasive Writing?
Persuasive writing, or opinion writing, is a form of nonfiction writing where the writer tries to convince others to believe a certain point or opinion. A strong persuasive essay requires critical thinking, and motivates and convinces the reader that what they are reading is correct. - Write a first draft. Be sure to consider who your audience and how you are going to appeal to them.
- Now that you have written your draft, it’s time to move through the writing process.
